Erikandath Herbals

Palakkad gets quite hot, and here in Vennakkara, we definitely feel it. Erikandath Herbals is tucked away in Anugraha Colony, inside the Rajadhani building. It is a bit of a quiet residential area, which is nice compared to the main town noise. We spend our mornings sorting through different herbs and making sure everything is stored properly in the back. The neighbors in the colony usually walk by and say hello. It's got a very local feel to it. Sometimes the wind picks up and blows the dust around Vennakkara, so we have to keep the doors shut. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just the daily routine of handling herbal products. The Rajadhani building has its own quirks, like how the light hits the front porch in the evening. We have stacks of bags and jars everywhere inside. It's a bit crowded at times but we know where everything is. Palakkad life is a bit slower than the big cities, and we like it that way. Most of the people who come by are from around the colony or nearby parts of Vennakkara. We've been in this spot for some time now and it feels like home. There is always a lot of work to do with the seasonal changes, but we just take it one day at a time without much fuss. It is just our way of life in this corner of the world.
