Dr. K.V. Vijayan Institute Of Ayurveda Medical Science Private Limited

We are located out in Mezhathur, specifically at the address XIV/602. It is a bit of a drive if you are coming from the main city, but people seem to make the trip out to Trithala anyway. This place is Dr. K.V. Vijayan Institute, and we focus on Ayurveda here. It’s not like a regular hospital with white walls and that medicine smell. Instead, you mostly smell herbs and oils when you walk through the door. The building is part of the landscape here, and we’ve been part of the community for quite some time. We have a few staff members who have lived in this area their whole lives. We handle the daily treatments and some students come by too since it’s an institute. It gets pretty humid here in Kerala, so we try to keep the place as cool as we can for the patients. There isn't any big corporate office behind us, just us working here in Mezhathur. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain is so loud we can barely hear each other, but we just keep going. People come for all sorts of reasons, usually looking for traditional ways to feel better. We don’t make any big promises, we just do the treatments the way they’ve always been done around here. It’s a simple life at the institute, and we spend a lot of time just keeping the gardens and treatment rooms in good shape for whoever stops by.
