Happy Holidays Asia

Our office is at No 10/233 on Diara Street in Palakkad. It’s a regular building in a pretty old part of the city. If you come by, you’ll see Happy Holidays Asia isn't one of those big corporate travel agencies you see in malls. We have a few desks, some maps pinned to the walls that are a bit faded from the sun, and a lot of binders full of hotel listings and flight schedules. The street outside can get quite dusty, especially in the summer months when Palakkad gets really hot. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people about where they want to go for their breaks. Sometimes the fans overhead make a bit of a clicking sound, but they keep us cool enough. We’ve been here at this Diara Street address for several years. It’s a practical place to work. We don’t have any fancy brochures with glossy paper. Most of our information is just scribbled on notebooks or kept in the computer. People from around the neighborhood stop in to ask about train tickets or bus routes quite often. We know the area well and we know the travel business too. It’s just a normal office where we try to get the details right so people don't have trouble on their trips. It’s a lot of paperwork, but it keeps us busy throughout the day.
