Dgc Finance School

Dgc Finance School is up on the second floor of the Al Fayeda Tower. If you know Mannarkkad, you’ve probably passed this building a few times. Being in Palakkad, the weather is often a bit heavy, so the fans in our rooms are basically running non-stop. We spend our days dealing with numbers and teaching people about finance. It’s not the most glamorous work, but it’s what we do. The stairs up to the second floor can be a bit of a workout if the power is out and the lift isn't moving. Most of the people who come here are students or local folks wanting to learn how to handle accounts better. The office has desks piled with ledgers and textbooks, and there’s usually a bit of a hum from people talking about tax laws or balancing books. Mannarkkad can get pretty busy with traffic outside, so you hear the horns honking while you’re trying to concentrate. It’s just a normal workplace where we get through the syllabus day by day. We don’t have any fancy marketing people telling us what to say, so we just talk to our students like normal people. It’s about getting the work done and making sure everyone understands the basics of money before they head home. It’s a quiet, steady kind of life here in the tower, and we are usually just focused on keeping our records straight and the classes moving.
