Darsana Silks Private Limited

We are located in Room No. 9/225 in Maniyur, Puthur. It is a small space, but it is enough for what we do with our silks. Being in a place like Puthur means things move a bit slower than in the big cities, and we actually prefer it that way. We spend most of our time looking at silk patterns and making sure everything looks right. The room is often filled with bright colors and the sound of people talking about different weaves. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s just a place where we keep our stock and handle the daily business of the company. We have a few local people who come in to help us out during the busy seasons. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of silk coming in, but we always manage to find a spot for everything. We don't have any big marketing plans or complicated systems. We just know our fabrics and we know our customers. Most of the people who deal with us have been doing so for years because they know they can just come by the room and talk to us. It’s a very personal way of doing things. The building is simple and the stairs are a bit steep, but it’s where we have been for a long time. We just take it one day at a time and focus on the silk in front of us without any extra fuss.
