Crystal Pet Allied Industries

Our factory is situated in the Manchira-Chittur area of Palakkad, out in Kerala. It’s a bit away from the main city, which actually works out well for an industrial setup like ours. Crystal Pet Allied Industries is where we spend our days working with various pet-related materials and plastic goods. The factory floor is quite large and we have various machines humming along from early morning. It’s not the quietest place to be, but you get used to the rhythm of the machines after a few days. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anyone to write fancy reports. Most of our time is spent checking the quality of the items coming off the line. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we all have to pitch in to get it running again, which is just part of the job. The weather here can get very rainy, and sometimes the roof leaks a little in the corners, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. We have a small group of local people working here who have become like family over the years. We don't have any big corporate goals or missions. We just try to produce good items that people can use and keep the business running smoothly. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. If you come by, we might offer you a glass of water and show you around the floor. We just take things one day at a time.
