The River Retreat Heritage Ayurvedic Resort

You can find us at Plot No. 115 on Palace Road in Cheruthuruthy. We are right near the Cochin Bridge. The River Retreat Heritage Ayurvedic Resort is an old place with a lot of history in its walls. It isn't like those modern hotels that look the same everywhere. Our buildings have character, and sometimes the floors creak a bit. We focus on the traditional ways here, especially with the Ayurvedic treatments. It’s a quiet spot, even with the bridge nearby. We have a lot of trees and the river is right there, which helps people relax. The staff is mostly local people from Cheruthuruthy who have been with us for years. We don't have a big corporate manual. We just treat people like they are visiting our own home. Sometimes the gardens get a bit overgrown when the rain is heavy, but we think it looks more natural that way. We spend our time making sure the oils are ready and the rooms are tidy. It’s not a fast-paced place. Everything moves a bit slower here, which is the whole point. People come here when they are tired of the city noise. We don't make big promises or use fancy words. We just offer a room, some traditional food, and a quiet place by the river. It’s a simple life at Plot No. 115, and we like it that way.
