Champions Alanthilak Karate School

Champions Alanthilak Karate School is situated in Mannarkkad, specifically in the Kodathippadi area of Palakkad. It’s a straightforward place where the focus is entirely on the practice. The hall where we train has seen a lot of action over the years. You won't find any luxury here, just the mats on the floor and the basic equipment we need. Palakkad can get incredibly hot, so the sessions in the afternoon can be quite intense. We keep the fans going, but it’s still hard work. Most of our students are local kids from around Mannarkkad who walk or cycle here after their regular school hours. You can hear the rhythmic sounds of the drills from the street, which usually lets people know that a class is in progress. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few notices and maybe a calendar. It’s an honest, no-frills environment. We don't have a big reception desk or a waiting lounge. Parents usually just wait on the steps or come back later. The local community knows us well, and we’ve become a familiar fixture in this part of town. Every morning we sweep the place out and get it ready for the evening rush. It’s a lot of physical work, not just for the students but for the people running the place too. We just keep showing up and doing what we do, day after day, without much fuss or noise.
