Our place is down in Palakkad, in a spot called Perumannoor near Chalisseri. Rajah Healthy Acres Pvt. Ltd. is basically surrounded by trees and a lot of green, which is nice when it is not pouring rain. Kerala weather can be unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time checking the sky to see if we need to head indoors. We have a lot of land to look after here. It is not like a city office where everything is paved over. There is always some mud or grass to deal with on the paths. We walk around quite a bit during the day to check on different parts of the property. It is quiet, which is something we have grown to like over the years. You mostly hear birds or the sound of the wind through the leaves. We do have people coming and going, but it never feels like a big rush. We try to keep things tidy, though nature has a way of taking back the space if we do not keep at it every day. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we all know what is happening in the local area. It is a small community in Perumannoor. We do not have many formal meetings; we just talk while we are working outside or sitting in the shade. Sometimes we sit on the porch to have tea and watch the clouds move over the hills. It is a very practical way to live and work.
