Cake.Rest Ice Creams & Pastries Llp is run out of Areekkara House in Adukkath PO. The address is MP 14 400A. It’s more of a home-style setup than a big factory. We work with ice cream and pastries, which means we are always dealing with freezers and ovens. It can be a bit of a struggle to keep the temperatures right when the power goes out, but we make it work. The Adukkath area is a bit tucked away, so it’s a peaceful place to be. We aren't a huge operation, just an LLP that started because we wanted to do something local. My family helps out with a lot of the daily chores. You can usually find us in the back where the prep tables are. It’s a messy job sometimes, with flour and sugar getting everywhere, but that’s part of the trade. We don't have a retail counter here, it’s mostly where we make everything. We spend a lot of time testing out different ways to make the ice cream stay soft. It’s a small business and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. The Areekkara House has been in the family for a long time, so it felt natural to set up the business here. It’s not a polished corporate office, just a real place where we do real work every day. We don't have fancy marketing or anything, just us doing what we know.
