We are Builtech Housing and you can find us on Chittur Road at number 387 in Palakkad. We share space with the Builtech Foundation here. It’s a busy road so there’s always something happening outside the window. We focus on housing projects around the Palakkad area. It’s a local partnership and we’ve been working on sites for quite some time now. The office is usually full of dust from the site visits and rolls of paper. We aren't really the type to sit in suits all day. Most of us are out on the field seeing how the bricks are being laid or talking to contractors. Palakkad can get really hot, so we try to get most of the heavy work done early in the day. We’ve seen the town grow and we’ve put up a few buildings ourselves along the way. It’s simple work but it requires a lot of attention to detail so things don't go wrong later on. People come to us because they know we are local and we’re not going anywhere. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Word of mouth usually does the trick for us. We just focus on getting the houses built and moving on to the next one. It’s a steady life and we enjoy being part of the community here on Chittur Road. There's always a pot of coffee going in the back room if anyone stops by to say hello. That’s just how we do things.
