We have been based out of the System House in Palakkad for quite some time now. Bpl Medical Technologies has a long history in this area, sharing the space with the telecom side of the business. It is a large facility, but it feels familiar to those of us who have been here for years. Palakkad is a quiet place compared to the big metros, and that reflects in how we work every day. We deal with medical equipment, so things have to be handled carefully, but the atmosphere inside the building is usually pretty relaxed. We have long hallways and rooms filled with testing gear. Some of the equipment looks like it belongs in a science fiction movie, while other parts are just plain old tools. The staff here mostly takes the bus or rides their scooters to work every morning. We eat our lunch together in the canteen and talk about local news or what happened over the weekend. There is not a lot of corporate jargon being thrown around in the hallways. We are just technicians, engineers, and office staff trying to keep things running smoothly. The building itself has aged, but it is sturdy and serves its purpose. We do not have a marketing department making up stories about us. We just show up at System House, do our shifts, and make sure the medical tech is ready for the hospitals that need it. It is just a job we take seriously.
