Be Mech Engineers

Our place is located at 3-48, right on the Palakkad-Ponnani Road in Ottapalam. Being on the main road means we see a lot of traffic passing by all day. We are a mechanical engineering shop, so there’s always something being welded or drilled. It’s a practical workspace with oil on the floor and tools hanging on the walls. We don't have a big office or a showroom. If you want to talk to us, you just come into the shop and find someone who isn't currently under a machine. We handle a lot of different repairs and custom fabrication. It’s honest work, and it can be quite tiring when the humidity is high. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for years and they know exactly where every wrench is. We don't bother with fancy advertising; the sign out front is enough for people to know we're here. We just try to do a decent job so that people come back when something else breaks. Sometimes the rain is so loud on the tin roof that we can't even hear each other talk, so we just keep working in silence. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just take each job as it comes and try to get it out the door on time. If the work is solid, that’s all that really matters to us at the end of the day.
