AZHAKATHU METAL GRANITES PRIVATE LIMITED

Azhakathu Metal Granites Private Limited is based out of Anakkode House, right in Coyalmannam. Our address is 3/22 and we’ve been here in Palakkad for some time now. It’s a family-run sort of feel even though we are a private limited company. We handle a lot of metal and granite, mostly for local building needs. The yard can get pretty crowded when we have a new shipment coming in. Being in Coyalmannam means we are close to a lot of the work happening in this part of Kerala. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and see what needs to be done. Sometimes the stone isn't exactly what we expected, so we have to sort through it. It's a lot of physical labor and being out in the elements. The rain can be a real pain when you’re trying to move heavy slabs around. We keep our records in the office at Anakkode House and try to stay on top of the orders. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. Most of the people who come to us are neighbors or contractors who have been working in Palakkad for a long time. We just provide the materials they need and try to keep the process as simple as possible without any unnecessary complications or fancy delays.
