We focus on naturopathy and yoga here. It is a bit different from your standard medicine-heavy hospital. We have been in this house for a while, providing a place where people can come for more natural treatments. The setting in Karakurussi is relatively quiet, which fits with the kind of work we do. People come here to get away from the noise and work on their health through yoga and diet and things like that. It’s not a high-tech facility with flashing lights, but we have the space we need for the mats and the treatment rooms. We are a local team, and most of us grew up around Palakkad. We don’t have a big marketing budget, so we mostly rely on people telling their friends about their experience here. The Ponthiyalil House is a well-known spot in the neighborhood. We try to keep things simple and honest. You won't find any corporate slogans on our walls. It’s just a place for healing in a way that feels right to us. We spend our days teaching classes and helping people manage their aches and pains without a lot of chemicals. It’s a steady life here in Kerala and we like it that way. Most days are peaceful.
