Ayushkara Ayurveda Hospital

I've been working here at Ayushkara Ayurveda Hospital for a few years now. We're right by Manappullykavu Junction in Palakkad, so it stays pretty busy outside most days. People usually come to us when they're tired of pills or just want something more traditional. We have rooms for the treatments and a lot of different oils that we keep stocked. It smells like herbs most of the time, which some people like and others have to get used to. Our doctors sit in the front cabins and see patients all morning. Sometimes the wait gets a bit long if there’s a crowd from the junction area, but we try to keep things moving. The building itself is straightforward, nothing fancy, just clean floors and wooden tables for the massages. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the oil treatments because that stuff gets everywhere if you aren't careful. It’s mostly local folks from Palakkad who stop by, though we get some travelers too. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just us, the therapists, and the office staff trying to get the work done. Usually, the afternoons are a bit quieter after the morning rush. We have a small pharmacy area too where we pack the medicines in paper packets. It's a steady rhythm here and we’ve gotten to know the regulars quite well over the months. There is always someone coming in for a consultation or a specific treatment.
