We are located at Soorya Corner-18 on English Church Road here in Palakkad. It is a pretty well-known street and there is usually a good amount of traffic passing by our front door. Most of our day involves connecting scanners to cars to figure out why those little lights on the dashboard won't go away. The garage area gets quite warm in the Palakkad sun, so we tend to drink a lot of water and stay in the shade as much as we can. We have tools scattered around on the benches and there is usually a car or two parked in the bay with the hood up. It is greasy work and our hands are rarely clean, but that is just how it goes when you are dealing with engines and sensors all day. People come to us when their vehicles start acting strange or making noises they don't recognize. We spend a lot of time explaining what the codes mean in plain English so the owners understand what is happening under the hood. It’s not a fancy place with a waiting lounge; most folks just stand around and chat with us while we work. English Church Road has a lot of history, and we like being part of the local scene here. We have been working on cars for a long time and the technology keeps changing, but the basic problems with wheels and wires stay mostly the same.
