Ascent Hospital

Ascent Hospital is situated right on Harikkara Street, which connects to Court Road here in Sultanpet. It’s a busy intersection of life. With the courts being close by, you see a lot of people in formal wear rushing around during the day. Our hospital building has been a part of this street for some time. Inside, it’s a mix of different sounds—the paging system, people talking in the hallways, and the hum of the air conditioning. We don't spend much time on aesthetics; the walls are a plain color and the furniture is built to last. Our staff works in long shifts, and there’s always a pot of tea or coffee going in the back room. We deal with all sorts of medical cases, and the rhythm of the day depends entirely on who walks through the door. Some days are slow, giving us time to catch up on filing, while other days are a complete whirlwind. We try to keep things organized, but in a hospital, things can get messy pretty quickly. The local shops around Sultanpet are where we go for our breaks. It’s a community feel, despite the stress that comes with medical work.
