Ariq Pulses & Grains

The place is at Door No. 995 in Alampallam Village, which is part of the Kollengode area. We spend most of our time here dealing with different kinds of pulses and grains. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving bags around the warehouse floor. The building is right on Kollengode Road, so it is not too hard to find if you are coming from the post office or the block office. We are not a big company with many offices. It is just us here, working in the dust and the heat most days. We get shipments in and then we have to sort them out before they go anywhere else. It is physical work and our clothes usually end up covered in grain dust by the time we go home. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing person to talk for us. We just handle the seeds and grains that the farmers and traders bring in. Sometimes the scale acts up and we have to fix it, or the bags tear and we have to sew them back up. It’s a bit messy and loud when the machines are running, but that is just how a grain business works in a village like this. We have been in this spot for a while and the locals know us. We do not really change much about how we do things. We just try to get through the work.
