Alsama Eye Hospital

Alsama Eye Hospital is situated right on the main Hospital Road in Perinthalmanna. This part of Malappuram is always buzzing with people and vehicles, especially since there are so many medical places around here. Our building is easy to spot, but it’s nothing too grand. Inside, we have a few rooms where we check people's vision and look at their eyes. It’s mostly routine stuff, like testing if someone needs new glasses or checking for cataracts. The sun can be quite bright in Kerala, so we get a lot of older folks coming in because their eyes are bothering them. We have a few benches for waiting, and it can get quite warm when the lobby is full. The staff here is just a small group of local people who have been working together for years. We don’t use any of that corporate language you hear in big city clinics. We just tell people to sit down, wait their turn, and then we see what’s wrong. Perinthalmanna is a busy hub, so we see people from all the surrounding villages. The floors are kept clean, and we try to keep the wait times down, though it doesn't always work out that way when it's busy. It is just a straightforward eye hospital where we do our daily work and help the people from Malappuram see a bit better.
