Hospital Road in Perinthalmanna is always a busy place, and we are right in the thick of it. Al Salama Eye Hospital Limited has been part of this street for a long time now. People come in all day complaining that they can’t see the signs or that their old glasses aren’t working anymore. It’s a lot of testing eyes and trying to explain how to use drops correctly. The waiting room is usually full, and the chairs are a bit worn out from so many people sitting in them over the years. We have a lot of files stacked up because we’ve seen so many patients from around the Malappuram district. It’s not a quiet place; you can always hear the traffic outside and the staff calling out names.
