Akshayasahakarana Chits Private Limited is based at the Delma Centre. Our office is VB-39, right by the Post Office Junction in Nemmara. It’s a very convenient spot because everyone passes by this junction at some point. Being near the Water Works means we are easy to find. The office is a busy little place, especially on the days when the chit payments are due. We have a small staff and we all sit in the same room. There’s a lot of chatter and the sound of the calculator clicking throughout the day. Palakkad can get extremely hot, so our office is always a bit stuffy, but we manage with the ceiling fans. We have wooden shelves filled with files that go back several years. It’s not a high-tech office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a regular workspace with some basic furniture. People from all over Nemmara come here to save their money. We know most of the families around the Post Office Junction. We spend our time writing out receipts and updating the passbooks. It’s a lot of manual work, but it keeps things accurate. We don't have any big promotions or advertisements. People just know we are here at the Delma Centre and they stop by when they need to. It’s a simple, local business that has been around for quite a while now.
