Our little office for Sahai Agro Dev. Co. Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away in Pizhaku P. O, near Pala in Kottayam. It is a very green part of the world, and that suits us just fine since we are all about agriculture. Most of the people working here grew up around these hills, so we understand the soil and the rain patterns better than most. We spend a lot of our time talking to local farmers and trying to figure out the best ways to get their produce moving. It is not a high-tech operation with shiny machines everywhere. Instead, you will mostly see us with muddy boots and old ledgers. We have been part of the Pizhaku community for a long time now. The office is usually filled with the smell of tea and the sound of someone complaining about the price of rubber or spices. It gets busy during the monsoon when everyone is worried about their crops, but we just take it one day at a time. We do not have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just know how to work the land and help others do the same. Kottayam is a place where people value hard work, and that is what we try to provide. It is just us, a few desks, and a lot of talk about farming. We like it that way because it keeps us connected to the ground.
