AGARWALLA BUILDCON

AGARWALLA BUILDCON is based in Office No 108, right in the middle of Harindanga Bazar. We are quite close to Sheetla Mandir Road, which is a landmark everyone in this part of town knows. Being in a bazar means it is never truly quiet. There is always the sound of people talking, scooters honking, and shopkeepers calling out to each other. Our office is a small, simple room. It’s got a couple of wooden desks and some cupboards full of old site plans and various files. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a clock that is always a few minutes fast. Most of our time isn't actually spent in the office anyway. We are usually out at different building sites, checking on the progress of the masonry or talking to the suppliers about cement deliveries. It’s a lot of back-and-forth travel throughout the day. Sometimes we come back to the office with dust on our shoes and just want to sit under the fan for a bit. The bazar is a good place to be because almost everything we need is within walking distance. We know the tea stall owner nearby quite well. We don't do much in the way of promotion. People usually just walk in because they saw our board or a friend told them about us. It is just a small local business trying to keep up with the construction needs. The work is steady and keeps us on our feet.
