Alpine Tour Travel

Living and working in Pahalgam means things move a bit slower. Alpine Tour Travel is right here where the air is clear. We spend a lot of time talking to people who are just passing through. Our office is small and we have maps pinned to the walls. Some of them are getting a bit old and curled at the edges. There’s always a pot of tea going. People stop by to ask directions or just to chat about the weather. We know the roads around here pretty well. It gets cold in the winter, so we have a small heater that we huddle around. In the summer, it’s much busier with all the visitors. We don't really have a big staff. Just a couple of us sitting at the desks. We use a lot of paper notebooks to keep track of things. Sometimes we lose a pen or two. The view outside is better than anything inside. We see the mountains every day when we walk to the door. It’s a simple business. We help people figure out where they want to go. We don't have a website that’s fancy or anything like that. Just the phone and the people who walk in off the street. It’s been this way for a long time. We like being part of the town. It’s home for us, and we are happy to be working in such a nice place.
