S.D. Kothari & Co

S.D. Kothari & Co is tucked away in Patel Complex, which is in the Padhmanabhpur area of Durg. We are at shop number 12. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main chowks, but there’s still plenty of movement around the complex. We’ve been working from this Bhilai address for a while, and the walls are mostly lined with folders and tax guides. The office is simple, maybe a bit cramped when a few people are visiting at once, but it works for us. We don't use any fancy management systems or corporate language. It’s just about sitting down at the desk and going through the entries one by one. The Padhmanabhpur neighborhood is a nice place to be, and the 491001 and 490001 area has its own rhythm. We mostly deal with the same people year after year. It feels more like a community than a business sometimes. We open the shutters in the morning, catch up on the local news, and then get to work on the files. There isn't any big mission statement on the wall or anything like that. S.D. Kothari & Co is just a small firm doing its part in the local economy. We take things as they come and try to keep our clients’ records in order without making a big fuss about it. It’s just the way we have always done things here in the complex.
