Yuvan Mart

We’re set up at Shop No- 76 in Kumaran Nagar, specifically the Padi Kumaran Nagar section. Yuvan Mart is a small place, but we pack a lot into it. If you come by, you’ll see shelves reaching right up to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze, but that’s how we like it. We’ve been here for a few years now, and the neighbors have been great. We know most people by their first names, and we usually know what they’re looking for before they even ask. It’s a busy little shop. There’s always someone coming in for something they forgot or just to say hello. We don't have any of that fancy lighting or music you find in the big supermarkets. It’s just us and the goods. The floor is a bit worn down from all the foot traffic, which we take as a good sign. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and trying to find space for new stuff. It’s a bit of a juggle. Padi is a good area to be in, very grounded and hardworking. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the day to start. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and lifting crates, but it keeps us busy. We’re just a local mart trying to stay useful to the folks around here. It’s a basic life, but it suits us.
