Swayansidha Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of the Padampur area. We are located at Turcha, and the office is set up at the C/O-Rohita Sahu address. This is in the Baragarh district of Orissa. It is a very rural area, which is perfect for a company like ours that works with farmers. Most of our days are spent dealing with the local agricultural issues that come up. The building we use is quite simple, just like everything else around here. We don't see the need for anything flashy. Most people who work here grew up in Turcha or the surrounding villages. We know everyone by name and they know us. There is always a tractor or some kind of farm equipment passing by the front door. Baragarh is known for its farming, so we are right in the heart of it. We keep our records in a few old cabinets and use a single desk for most of the writing. It’s a quiet life, but there is always plenty of work to do. We don't have a mission statement or any of that stuff. We just try to be useful to the people who are out in the fields every day. If someone needs to find us, they just ask for Rohita Sahu’s place in Turcha. It has been our home for a while, and it works well for the business we are running. It is just how things are done in this part of the country.
