Mukesh Store

Pachora is where we are located. The shop is at Plot Number 26 in the Baba Ambedkar Market. It is right on Station Road so it is pretty easy to find if you are coming from the trains. The Daily Farm is nearby and you can usually see the big trucks coming in with milk early in the morning. The market is very crowded on most days. I spend a lot of time arranging things on the shelves so people can find what they need. Mukesh Store has been here for a bit now. The floor is concrete and I have to sweep it three or four times a day because of the dust from the road. People come in from the station looking for small items. It is a busy spot in Pachora. I have a small wooden counter where I sit and keep the accounts. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or so in the afternoon heat. We just keep the door open for light when that happens. The signage outside is a bit faded from the sun. Station Road is never quiet. There are always people shouting or horns blowing. It is just how it is here. I know most of the other shop owners around Baba Ambedkar Market. We talk while having tea in the evenings. The shop isn't very large but it fits everything. I try to stay organized but sometimes boxes just pile up.
