S.M. ENGINEERS

Our shop is over at Door No-W-15/P in the MIDC Industrial Area. It’s right off National Highway No-211, so we hear the big trucks rolling past at all hours. Being an engineer here means dealing with a lot of heat and noise. S.M. ENGINEERS has been in this spot for a good while. The walls have seen a lot of work. We aren't the type to dress up in suits. Usually, it's just work clothes that have seen better days. The industrial area is always busy, and there’s always someone looking for a fix or a part. We keep our tools handy and try to stay on top of the pile of jobs. It’s a practical kind of life. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. Most people just walk right into the workspace. The highway brings in a lot of dust, so we are always wiping things down. We drink a lot of water when it’s hot. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just a reliable one that people in the MIDC know. Some days the power goes out and we have to wait it out, which is just part of being here. We just focus on the task in front of us until the sun goes down and it's time to lock up and head home. The street lights aren't very bright around here, so we try to leave before it gets too dark.
