Our place is in Shivaji Nagar, over in Washi. We are actually quite close to the Osmanabad Janata Bank, which makes us very easy to find if you are in that part of town. We are a small team of people. Most of us live nearby, so we just walk or ride our bikes to work in the morning. The office is a simple space where we manage the accounts for local families. We do not have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just do the daily work of recording deposits and talking to people about their small loans. It is a very honest and simple kind of job. You see the same people coming in every week. Some folks come in just to say hello and check their balance to make sure everything is okay. We do not mind that at all. It feels good to be a real part of the neighborhood. The building we are in is a bit older, but it serves its purpose well enough. We keep the paperwork in order and try to help anyone who walks in the door, even if they are not entirely sure what they need yet. We are not trying to change the whole world. We are just trying to make things a little bit easier for the people living here in Washi.
