Mseb

We are part of the local setup here in Maharashtra, specifically working out of the 413501 area. Being Mseb, our work is mostly about the power and electricity side of things. It’s a practical, no-nonsense job that keeps us busy throughout the year. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place for the staff to coordinate maintenance and handle the billing. We spend a lot of time out in the field making sure things are working right. Latur can get very dry and hot, which sometimes makes the work a bit tougher for the crew. We don’t have a marketing department or fancy slogans. It’s all about the service and keeping the lights on for the people in the district. We’ve seen a lot of changes in how the grid works over the years. Some days are stressful when there is a breakdown or a storm, but we just deal with it. The team here is made up of locals who know the streets and the lines like the back of their hands. We don't use a lot of corporate talk. We just tell people the situation as it is. It’s a straightforward life working for the state board. We just focus on our tasks and try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible for the residents around here. There is always something to fix or a report to file, so we stay busy.
