DNYANDA GRAMVIKAS URBAN NIDHI LIMITED is based in Para, which is in the Kallam Taluka of Osmanabad district. We are set up at Appa Manohar Hinge’s place. It’s a rural area, so things move at a different pace here. We focus on the local village development and helping people save their money. We don't have a modern office with glass walls or air conditioning. It’s just a traditional setup where people feel comfortable walking in. Appa is well known in the community, so people feel okay coming to his place to talk about their finances. We do a lot of the work by hand because it’s just easier that way for us. Sometimes we have to go out and meet people in their homes if they can't make it to Para. It’s a lot of walking and talking. The dust and the sun are part of the job in Osmanabad. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing. Word travels fast in the village, so that’s how people find out about us. We just try to keep things organized and make sure everyone’s records are correct. It’s a small operation run by local people for local people. We know the struggles the farmers face, and we try to work around their schedules. It’s not a 9-to-5 kind of place; we are here when the people need us. It’s just how we do things.
