Libas Tailor

We are over at Akata Chowk, right near the Ram Medical shop. If you are in U Block of DLF City Phase lll, you’ve probably seen us. Libas Tailor is just a small shop. It’s usually quite crowded inside because we have a lot of machines and fabric rolls everywhere. There isn't much room to walk around. We spend most of our time hunched over the tables. The light isn't the best in the back, so we use some extra lamps. It gets loud with the sound of the sewing machines going all day. Sometimes we have to shout a bit to hear each other over the noise. It’s a busy corner of DLF City. There are always people walking by and cars honking at the chowk. We don't have a fancy storefront. The glass is a bit smudged and we have an old calendar on the wall from three years ago. We just haven't bothered to take it down. It’s a practical place. We focus on the stitches and making sure things fit right. If the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just wait it out or use hand tools. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. Everyone around here knows where we are. We don't do any advertising. The work just comes in because we are here and we do the job.
