Shri Ram Masala

Started here in Ward No. 4 a while back. We are right in Professor Colony, not far from the Raybal Museum. Most days it’s just the sound of the machines running and the smell of different spices in the air. People around Kukda Jagat know where we are because of that scent. It's a quiet enough area but we stay busy. We don’t have fancy offices or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get the grinding done and pack things up. My family has lived around here for a long time, so setting up the masala business near the museum felt right. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with dried chillies and turmeric all day. We start early in the morning when the air is still cool. By noon, the sun hits the front of the building pretty hard. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not a complicated life. We see the same people walking by every day to the museum or the college nearby. We know the neighbors and they know us. If someone needs a small packet or a bulk bag, they just walk in. We don't spend money on big signs. The address is easy to find if you know the colony. We just try to get the orders filled and keep the place running.
