Larsen & Toubro Limited, Hyderabad Region.

Our location is a bit unique because we are situated care of Zuari Cement Limited. We are out in Krishnanagar, which is in Yerraguntla in the Kadapa district. Being right there at the cement plant site means we are always in the middle of the action for the Hyderabad region projects. The environment is very industrial. You can see the plant from our windows and the dust is just part of the daily life here. It’s not the kind of place for someone who likes a clean city office. We work out of the Larsen & Toubro setup right on the grounds. It gets very hot in Kadapa, and we definitely feel it during the summer months. Our day starts early to beat the sun if we can. The office is simple and practical because we spend a lot of our time out on the field anyway. We have a close relationship with the people at the plant. It feels like a big community where everyone is working towards the same goal. We don’t use any fancy corporate language because it doesn't fit the vibe of a construction site. We just talk about what needs fixing or what the schedule looks like for the week. It’s a tough place to work sometimes, but it’s real. We are just here doing our bit for the ECC projects in this part of the state. It is steady work and we take it one day at a time without any complaints.
