Mktg is based over in Rayagada, right near where the Ultratech Cement plant is. If you've ever been to this part of Orissa, you know how much dust and activity there is with the big industries around. Our office sits in Indira Nagar, specifically on the 1st Lane. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main industrial roads, but you can still feel the hum of the town. We spend our days dealing with various bits of paperwork and the usual grind that comes with being in this line of work. The weather here can be quite tough, especially when it rains and the roads get a bit messy, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a team of people to greet you at the door; it’s mostly just us doing our thing and keeping things moving. People usually find us because they have business in the area or they are working with the nearby plants. It’s a practical location for what we do. Inside, the desks are usually piled with files and the coffee is always on. We don't worry much about how the place looks to outsiders as long as the work is getting finished. It’s just a normal workplace where everyone knows their job. We’ve been in Rayagada for a bit now and it feels like a solid place to be.
