Nalco

Our spot is located at B-1894 in Nalconagar, over in the Angul area. This is where we handle our specific part of the operations for Nalco. Being in a place like Nalconagar means that our work and our daily life are kind of mixed together. It is a massive residential and industrial area where everyone is doing something related to the plant. We spend our time managing the small details and paperwork from this specific unit. The building we are in is a standard one for the colony, and it does not really stand out from any of the others on the block. We have got a small team working here. Most of the time we are just looking at schedules or dealing with the logistics of what the plant needs. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it is important for keeping everything moving smoothly. We do not have a lot of visitors from the outside. It is mostly just other staff members and workers passing through on their way to another unit. The atmosphere is very practical and down to earth. We have our desks, our ledgers, and our scheduled tea breaks. It is a long way from the big cities, so we really rely on each other to get things done. We have been based in this B-1894 unit for quite a while now. You get used to the sounds of the machinery.
