You can find us at Quarter No. D/2 in Sector-1 of the Nalco Township. We’re out in Daamanjodi, which is part of the Koraput district in Orissa. It’s a unique place to work because it’s right there in the township area. Our office is basically a modified residence, which is common here. It’s where the engineering team gathers to go over the plans for the local industrial projects. Working in Daamanjodi means being surrounded by hills and the big Nalco operations. The office itself is very simple. We have our desks pushed together and blueprints spread out everywhere. It’s a bit cramped, but we manage just fine. There’s a lot of technical talk throughout the day. We don’t really care for fancy titles or corporate polish. We just want to make sure the engineering tasks are finished on time. Living and working in the township means we see our colleagues even when we aren't working. It’s a tight-knit group. The weather in Koraput can be unpredictable, but the work in Sector-1 stays the same. We just keep our heads down and focus on the technical side of the job. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for quite a while now. We just do the work and try to stay on schedule.
