Our setup is located at Nirmala Bhawan, right in the Bramhanigaon area of Keonjhar. It’s pretty close to Dharanidhar College, so there’s always people moving around the neighborhood. Being Hazaribagh Mining & Engineers means we spend a lot of time thinking about rocks, soil, and how machines work. It’s not a quiet job. Orissa has a lot of this kind of work going on, and we’ve been part of it from this little spot for a bit now. We don't have a big corporate lobby. Instead, we have a desk, some papers, and a lot of boots that usually have some mud on them. The heat in Keonjhar can be something else during the summer months, but we just deal with it. We handle a lot of the technical side of things, making sure the engineering part makes sense before anyone starts digging. It’s a lot of back and forth between the site and the office here at P.O. Bramhanigaon. We know the local roads and the people around here pretty well by now. Sometimes things get delayed because of the rain or equipment issues, but that is just the nature of mining work. We aren't here to make big promises. We just show up, look at the plans, and try to make sure the engineering holds up under pressure. It’s a steady life and we’re used to the grit of it all, even when the work gets difficult or the days get long.
