Our location in Jajang is right in the middle of Keonjhar district, which is basically the heart of the mining country in Orissa. This whole place is centered on the work. We are based out of the 758052 area, and if you have ever been to this part of the state, you know it is rugged and entirely focused on what comes out of the earth. Essel Mining & Industries Ltd. has a very steady presence here because this is where the resources are located. The office itself is more of a functional hub for the operations out in the field rather than a place for meetings. It is often dusty, the heavy trucks are always moving nearby, and the air always has that smell of the mines. We don't have the comforts of a city office, but we have everything we need to keep the daily tasks running. The staff here are used to the environment, and many have been in Keonjhar their whole lives. It is a small community built around the mining industry. We handle the site management and the daily coordination from this specific spot. It is not the kind of place you would visit for a tour; it is where we get our work done and make sure the logistics are moving along.
