Rungta Mines Limited

This office is right at the Jajang Iron and Mn Mines. If you head out to Jajang in the Keonjhar district, you’ll find us there. It is a rugged place, very different from the city offices. There is red dust everywhere because of the mining, and you can always hear the heavy machinery working in the distance. The 758052 area is where we spend most of our time. Rungta Mines Limited has been operating here for years. It’s a practical location, being right on the site. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just some basic furniture and a lot of safety gear hanging on the walls. The roads getting up to Jajang can be a bit rough, especially when it rains during the monsoon season. We deal with the daily grind of the mines, keeping track of the iron and manganese that comes out. The staff stays in the local area or commutes from nearby towns. It’s hard work and the days are long. We don’t have air conditioning in every room, so it gets stuffy. People here are used to the noise and the dirt. It’s just part of the job. We keep things moving as best as we can. It’s not a place for visitors really, just a working site for the team. We just focus on the ore and the trucks. Sometimes we eat lunch together under the trees to escape the heat.
