We’ve been here in Mahottari Np for a while now working on power stuff. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the wires go where they are supposed to. Most days start early before the sun gets too high because once it gets hot out there, the work gets twice as hard. We have a small office where we keep all the drawings and the tools. It isn't anything fancy, just a place to sit and have some tea while we figure out the day's schedule. There are usually a few trucks parked outside and plenty of noise when the crew gets going. Sometimes the parts don't arrive on time and we have to wait around, but that’s just how it is with construction. We know the roads around here pretty well by now. People see our jackets and know what we are doing with the poles and the lines. It’s a job that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we have to go out into the fields to check on a site and that takes all day. There is always something that needs fixing or a new section that needs to be put up. We just keep at it, one pole at a time, making sure things stay connected. The crew is a good bunch of guys who don’t mind getting their hands dirty. We've been in this spot for a bit and it feels like home now.
