Down here at 49, N.S Bose Road, we handle things for Vedanta Aluminium Ltd. We’re in the Malancha-Mahanagar area, which is a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the center of Kolkata, but it’s where we’ve settled. The P.O. is Malancha. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of local shops and people moving about. Our building is pretty plain, just a regular structure that blends in with the others on N.S Bose Road. We don't have any big neon signs or anything like that. Inside, it's mostly about managing the logistics for the aluminium business. We have a few rooms for the staff and a small area for storing files and equipment. The traffic in West Bengal can be a nightmare, so we usually try to get in early to beat the rush. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t spend time on big speeches or fancy decorations. We’re more interested in making sure the trucks are on time and the orders are correct. If you stop by, you’ll probably see us drinking tea and going over the day’s schedule. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, but we stay busy enough. People in Malancha know we're here. We’ve been part of the local scene for some time now, just doing our thing and keeping the business running without much fuss or noise. It's just a regular office for regular work and we like it.
