Vedanta Aluminium Ltd

Down here in Kerala, we have our little setup in a place called Nirmalyam. It’s in Machery, which is part of the Mowanchery area in Kannur. It’s a bit different from the huge industrial sites that most people associate with Vedanta Aluminium Ltd. Here, things are a lot slower and more relaxed. We use this space to manage the local affairs and keep track of what’s happening in this region. The building feels more like a home than a stiff office, which we actually prefer. It makes the long hours a bit easier to handle. We have our coffee breaks and chat about the weather just like anyone else in the neighborhood. You won't find any big signs or flashing lights here. We just have our work and a quiet place to do it. The local community in Kannur is great, and we try to just blend in and do our jobs quietly. We deal with various bits of logistics and coordination from this house. It’s simple and honest work. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the rain keeps us inside, but we always manage to stay on top of the list of things to do. We don’t need a big glass tower to be productive. Having a roof over our heads in Machery is plenty for us to keep the business moving forward. It’s a nice change of pace from the big cities, and we feel lucky to be working here.
