Even though the company name is Maithan Ispat Limited and we are associated with the Jajpur plant in Orissa, this specific spot serves as a vital contact point or administrative link in Bihar. Madhubani is quite far from the industrial heat of Jajpur, and the pace of life in the village is much slower. The house where we handle things is a traditional one, surrounded by the usual sights of rural Bihar. We don't have a big corporate sign or a reception desk. Instead, the work happens at a simple table with a laptop and a lot of phone calls to the main office in Orissa.
