Jindal Stainless Limited

Our place is at 12/1 Roy J.N.Roy Road in Bally. It’s right in the Howrah area of West Bengal. It’s a busy part of the world, and there’s always something going on outside our door. Jindal Stainless Limited has been operating from this spot for some time now. The building is older, with high ceilings and those big heavy doors that creak. We don’t have any modern glass partitions or anything like that. It’s mostly just wooden desks and old filing cabinets that have seen a lot of use. The dampness from being near the river sometimes makes the paper feel a bit soft in the mornings. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the daily tasks. It’s a noisy street, so there’s always the sound of horns and people talking loudly. We don’t have a fancy sign, just the name on the door. People come in to discuss steel requirements or just to drop off papers for the manager. We keep things moving as best we can. It’s not a polished environment. We have stains on the floor and some paint peeling in the corners. It’s a real place where people work hard every day. We’re part of the fabric of Bally here. Most of us take the local transport to get in every morning. It’s a long day but we get things finished. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep, so you have to be careful coming up. We keep a stash of biscuits for when the tea arrives in the afternoon.
