Maithan Ispat Limited (Maithan Group)

Our office is located at 225-B Shib Talla Street, which is right near Bidhan Park in the Hind Motor area. This part of Hooghly has a lot of history with factories and old industrial plants, so Maithan Ispat Limited fits right in. The building belongs to K.C. Pareek and we have been using it to handle our business for the Maithan Group. The street outside can get pretty dusty when the wind picks up, and there are always people walking toward the park or the station. Inside, the office is quite plain. We have the usual stuff like desks piled with papers, some old metal cupboards for filing, and a couple of computers that have seen better days. It gets pretty loud during the day because of the local traffic and the neighborhood noise, but we just get used to it. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor or making things look polished. The focus is usually on the steel work and keeping track of the local operations in West Bengal. Most of the staff live nearby, so we all know the local shops and the best places to grab a quick snack. It’s a very local vibe here. We deal with the logistics and the paperwork without much fuss. If you come by, you’ll probably see us just working through the daily logs or talking on the phone with the plant managers. It’s just how we do things.
