Siricon Projects Pvt.Ltd. is based in Damanjodi, which is up in the Koraput district of Orissa. We operate out of Qtr No-A-190 in the Nalco Township. It’s a bit different working in a township compared to a regular city because everything is more spread out and quiet. The air is a bit cleaner here but the work is just as hard. We spend a lot of time dealing with the specific needs of projects in this part of the country. Being in a township means we are surrounded by people who work for the plant, so it's a tight-knit community. Our office is basically just a part of the quarters where we have our computers and our maps. We don't have a big staff, so everyone has to do a bit of everything, whether it's answering the phone or going out to check on a wall. The weather in Koraput can be quite different from the coast, with more hills and different soil to think about. We've had to learn how to manage our logistics carefully because getting materials up here can sometimes take longer than expected. We just try to keep a steady pace and make sure the workers are doing what they are supposed to. It’s not a glamorous job, and we don't pretend it is. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure we don't make mistakes that we have to fix later. It's a decent place to work and we like the people around here.
