M/S Gannon Dunkerley & Co. Ltd has its base here in Angul, right in the Sikhyakapara area. If you know the town, it’s a pretty recognizable spot for the locals. We are currently operating out of Bhimsen Das’s place. It’s a simple setup, nothing like those big glass buildings you see in the bigger cities. Here in this part of Orissa, things move at a bit of a slower pace, and we actually prefer it that way. We spend our mornings getting the paperwork sorted and the afternoons handling whatever tasks come our way. Being in Sikhyakapara means we are close to the local school area and the heart of the district. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk or long meetings. We just focus on what’s right in front of us. The office is basically a house that we’ve turned into a workspace, so it has a very lived-in feel. It gets a bit dusty when the big trucks go by on the main road, but that’s just part of living in an industrial town like Angul. We have a few people who have been with us for years, and they know how everything works. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there; we just want to get through the week’s schedule without too much trouble. If you’re looking for us, just head towards the teacher’s colony area and ask around. It’s a very grounded way to work.
